Developed a successful tourism recovery marketing strategy and marketing plan with a new fresh campaign to promote County Wexford as the leading tourism destination. This includes developing and delivering all elements of the new brand campaign for the target markets.

An integrated Marketing/PR and Digital campaign included TV, Radio and Print. We developed new creatives and concepts for media on Today FM, Radio One, RTE 2FM. Visit Wexford has also been mentioned on RTE News, Virgin Media, Ireland AM and Newstalk Most recently, it was featured in “No Place Like Home” with Kathryn Thomas as the presenter on RTE. Visit Wexford has also been featured in all national newspapers like the Irish Independent, The Irish Times, The Irish Examiner, The Sunday World and many regional newspapers. The PR value for June, July and August 2020 alone was €528,094 and the social media insights for just the three months have reached nearly 4,500,000 impressions, nearly 130,000 engagements and over 5,000 new followers for the tourism destination brand across its social media channels. The social media channels continue to grow fast and a strong, online community has been built for the brand across each channel. We managed the filming of RTE’s Tracks & Trails to be aired in 2021, created a new suite of photographs and videos and also attracted many influencers.
Irish Hotel Federation – Go Anywhere Gift Card
Develop a communications plan and project management of the launch/roll out of the new Irelandhotels.com gift card system. Included Marketing/PR, Digital Marketing, POS and 8 training workshops nationwide across the country. Recruitment of hotels for new systems including newsletter, webinars, presentations, animated video and round of phone calls to recruit and get industry to sign up/log in to the new system. Working with all stakeholders and companies on the new brand and campaign and developing a corporate sales strategy. Setting up monthly budgets/targets and managing the marketing expenditure budget to deliver strong CPA of 2-4% and ROI of 10:1+. We have delivered exceptional results for the client across their social media channels, including over 1,000,000 impressions, over 5,500 engagements and nearly 1,000 followers.
Developing a campaign to promote County Wexford as a leading food tourism destination. Includes the promotion of local food, drink and craft producers, food tours and food events. This is achieved through promotion across social media channels and social ads, weekly blogs and membership on TasteWexford.ie.
Taste Wexford Boxes are also available to purchase on the website and feature some of Wexford’s leading food, drink and craft producers. Christmas 2020 saw almost €10,000 in orders for Taste Wexford Boxes both nationally and internationally. Paid ads for the boxes saw a combined 24,000 impressions and Taste Wexford’s social media channels saw over 42,000 impressions during the main shopping period from late November to mid December.
We work closely with local producers and have shot footage to further promote them in 2021. This will be shared in conjunction with the launch of the new Taste Wexford website in 2021. Our aim is to boost the food tourism industry in Wexford in 2021 with our marketing activities.
