Heritage Village is Ireland’s first modern later-living community based in Killenard, Co. Laois. Heritage Village was created with a simple idea in mind: to offer a modern, independent and community-focused way of living for adults over 55. It is a new approach to living later in Ireland with high-quality homes, thoughtful amenities and a warm sense of community.
As of February 2026, the development has completed 61 of their 167 houses and has attracted interest from all over the world. Their amenities hub is due to be completed in October 2026 and will provide a range of facilities for residents including a cinema, bistro & bar, gym and library.

Working with our designer, Lisa Gildea, we created a new brand that reflected the values and vision that Heritage Village wished to showcase.
Collaborating with Heritage Village’s Sales and Marketing Manager, Maurice Harrington and KARV Developments Ltd. CEO, Tommy Keane, we facilitated a brand development workshop which helped us to determine the messaging and feel of Heritage Village. From tone of messaging to colour palette, the new brand really showcases what the Laois community is all about.
We did a complete overhaul of the Squarespace website, creating new content, updating the brand and making it visually appealing and accessible to the visitor. Check it out for yourself at HeritageVillage.ie
There was a boom of social media followers and website views, which occurred on January 7th 2026 when Heritage Village were featured in an RTÉ Six One News segment with Midlands correspondent, Sinéad Hussey. The Six One News is one of RTÉ’s most watched programmes, with an estimated 433,000 viewers per day, an excellent feature for Ireland’s first modern later-living community. In the 24 hours that the news piece aired, there were 6,258 clicks, 100,497 unique views and a conversion rate of 5.9% on the Heritage Village website.
To date (August 2026), they have welcomed 43 new residents to the blossoming County Laois community with August 2026 being the busiest move-in month since the development began. The second courtyard is on track for a January 2027 completion and Phase 2 on the detached houses are on track for completion in November 2026.
