Maurica Mackle

Chartered PR Pracitioner

Maurica Mackle is a multi-award-winning Chartered PR Practitioner, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, and a judge for the CIPR PRide Awards.

Owning a boutique PR business, Mackle Communications since 2015, Maurica has established niche clients across all sectors in Ireland, UK and further afield. Prior to starting her business, Maurica was Head of Strategy in the Welsh Government, Department of Economy, providing advice to the First Minister and Minister for Economy, Science and Transport, leading on Enterprise Zones, Major Tourism Events and Welsh Anchor Company strategic relationship management.

Previously Head of Consultancy for National Trust, the largest conservation charity in Europe, working across Wales and Northern Ireland as Head of Marketing for Wales, Maurica was a lead member of the delivery team for the award winning £18.5m Giant’s Causeway visitor centre, the largest visitor attraction on the island of Ireland.

In 2020 Maurica was awarded a ‘Mark of Excellence’ by CIPR Excellence Awards as Outstanding Independent PR Practitioner and was a finalist in the 2023 Awards.
