Welcoming new clients from the business sectors, O’Connell Marketing has had a busy start to 2026 working with the Heritage Village, Ireland’s first modern later-living community designed for independent living, comfort and connection. The project entailed a full redesign of the Heritage Village website, developing all-new branding and creating social media channels in advance of the media launch.
This novel over 55s living concept has been very well received with coverage on RTÉ News, Today Show and Newstalk, as well as regional media. To date, it has generated over 200 qualified sales enquiries and a full diary of viewings in just four weeks.
In addition, the agency was also awarded the Invest Wexford tender: an exciting project including brand identity, digital marketing and social media content creation.
Long-term partners with the Irish Hotels Federation, Jean O’Connell and the team have been involved in the development and marketing of Irelandhotels.com’s Go Anywhere Gift Card for 5 years. The team has just wrapped on an impressive 2025 campaign where Irelandhotels.com Go Anywhere Gift Card increased the direct online sales by half a million euro and strong targets set for 2026. This is as a result of a fine-tuned digital marketing campaign covering web content, newsletters, seasonal blogs, social media, display advertising and a comprehensive radio campaign underpinned by PR activity.
Expanding on an exciting 2025, O’Connell Marketing were also involved in two of Tourism Ireland’s Home of Halloween destinations through clients Visit Kilkenny and Samhain Festival of Food & Culture. The popular food festival in the heart of the Boyne Valley saw 7,500 visitors attend the festival over the full weekend – a significant rise from 5,000 recorded the previous year.
